These imprints, at times preserved for subsequent generations, have taken various forms, ranging from ancient wall paintings to contemporary architectural designs. In today’s world, where design and personalization take center stage, the demand for customized wall designs is steadily on the rise.
Dear designer Alev Pilevne has prepared a brand new stencil collection for the San Deco brand in 4 different concepts ranging from Zen Gardens to Moroccan Courtyards and from Nature Motifs to India. With the stencil design, which you can use on a whole wall or as a single detail, you will find your own tracks and a part of your own story in your spaces
Nowadays, there is no moment when we are not longing for green. While creating the Nature Patterns series, we aimed to fulfill this longing, sometimes in a leaf figure, sometimes in a rose and sometimes in a carnation motif. With Nature Motifs, each of which consists of 6 different patterns in three different sizes, you will be able to carry the traces of nature in your spaces to a certain extent.
Due to their architecture, cities such as Morocco Tunisia Casablanca remind us of peace, blue, white, serenity. We aimed to combine these motifs with the peaceful structure of Moroccan Courtyards.
Damask design has been indispensable for design for centuries. In the magical love story from the Taj Mahal to the present day, you can feel these feelings in the motifs of Indian henna on the walls.
Just like in nature motifs, we find peace with green in the Zen Gardens, where the return to ourselves will always be felt in the spaces.
Born in Istanbul in 1964, Alev Pilevne graduated from Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theater, Decor and Costume in 1986. After working in the private sector for a short time, he moved to the furniture sector, which is my family business, and founded Sahne Furniture.
Defining her work as “Designing Space”, Ms. Alev, continues in this sector as a furniture designer and manufacturer and continues her delightful touches to design with the specially designed Stencil collection she prepared for San Deco.
Turkey’s first effect paint manufacturer with 100 percent domestic capital began its operations in 1965 in San Deco chemical industry. In the 90s, San Deco focused on effect paint, which is in the decorative segment in R&D and production, and reached a total production capacity of 29 thousand tons in its facilities established on a total area of 11 thousand square meters in Kocaeli Gebze and Algeria.
